My artist quilting friend Betty R. whipped up this little wall quilt in a few days recently from a pattern in a new book she got. She first cut the light and dark green wavy strips of fabrics, and then wove them together! Each and every light and dark green piece you see has been satin-stitched around every side!.JPG)
And even appliqued this sweet little hummingbird and pink flower blooms which are 3-dimensional, and have beaded little stamens coming out of each one! She's an amazing talent in many areas, and I'm so proud to call her one of my best friends in the whole wide world! Check out her blog :

I cannot believe that I have only just seen your comment on my blog from many months ago when I was working with the Bereavement Center. I am actually about to prepare for another session and was scrolling back over my words and found you. I am so glad that my words at the time touched you. The experience has certainly changed me and helped me through my own losses while helping others.
I see that you do some lovely artwork and I am most interested in your bead challenge/project. I love the Wishes package. Isn't something when someone takes the time to wrap something with just a little extra care?
